Rail fans from accoss the country came out to help celebrate our 25th year anniversary.

Ticket Agents Cyril and Connie Houser greeted our guests as they arrived.

The Mad River Museum was there to help promote railroad safety.

There was face painting while you waited for your train to arrive ....

... and home made hobo stew ....

... and spike driving contests ....

... and of course a model train show and flee market.

Over 30 private track inspection cars participated in the all weekend event.

As the Bluebird pulled out of Grand Rapids, Ohio ...

... The Hand Huen Band entertained passengers aboard the train.

Rail fans enjoyed their ride ...

.. until train robbers stopped the train and robbed our passengers.

But not all of the robbers got away thanks to this courageous young man.

Year 2000 President William Linebaugh Jr. and Vice President Kurt Teschendorf present the 25th anniversary cake ...

... to Grand Rapids and Waterville merchants on the special run 9 P.M. merchants appreciation train.
